There is a deeper meaning for God's Forbidden-Fruit command. This command is important for our survival and well being. The world would be a much beter place, if more people take this command seriously. We are all finite and fallible human beings with a free will, When people choose to play God and belive that they are free to do anything they want with thier power, money and technoloyg, they will eventually destroy countless people. That is why we need to remember that the forbidden-fruit command is the red line for humaniity; when we choose to cross this line, we will reach a point of no return with disastrous concequences. The forbidden fruit may be different for different individuals, but the consequence of eating is the same -- separation from God and a life of guilt, shame and fear. Fear of God is the most effective motivation to prevent us from eating the forbidden truit. According to the view, Adam and Eve's sin is not attrubuted to us, by repeated by us for making the same wrong choic on our own accord.

Today’s Devotional ThoughtNumbers 20:8 “You and Aaron must take the staff and assemble the entire community. As the people watch, speak to the rock over there, and it will pour out its water. You will provide enough water from the rock to satisfy the whole community and their livestock.” NLTGod instructs Moses and Aaron to gather the congregation and speak to a rock, promising that water will pour out to satisfy their needs. However, when faced with the grumbling of the people, Moses, instead of obeying God's command, strikes the rock twice. This was what he had done in Exodus chapter 17. God is displeased because Moses did not follow His instructions for this occurrence. This passage teaches us an important lesson about obedience and reliance on God's guidance. Moses's actions demonstrate the danger of falling into patterns and relying on past methods, rather than seeking God's direction in each situation. Just because something worked before does not mean it is the right course of action for the present moment. As believers, we must be attentive to the leading of the Holy Spirit and willing to step out of familiar patterns to follow God's will. Tradition and routine can sometimes hinder the work of God in our lives and communities. Like Moses, we may need to relinquish our own understanding and trust in God's guidance, even if it means stepping into the unknown.Let us be open to the leading of the Spirit and willing to adapt to the changing circ*mstances around us. May we seek God's direction earnestly and follow His commands obediently, trusting His plans are always for our good and His glory. God brought a new leader, Joshua to enter the promised land. Moses only got a distant view from Mount Nebo. Have a great day, and be blessed.

In summary, while the Bible does not specifically mention hawks as a symbol or sign, their association with vision, focus, and tenacity can carry important spiritual significance. Seeing a hawk may be interpreted as a reminder to stay vigilant, take decisive action, and trust in God’s strength and guidance. Ultimately, the biblical meaning of seeing a hawk is one of encouragement and reassurance that God is on our side and fighting for us. In the biblical context, hawks are often associated with strength, power, and protection. They are considered to be a symbol of God’s watchful eye, and their keen sense of sight is seen as a metaphor for God’s ability to see everything that is happening in the world. Seeing a hawk in a dream or in real life can be interpreted as a message from God that He is watching over you and protecting you from harm. If you are - https://lnkd.in/giCByC88

If you leave room for doubt about God’s goodness, Satan will slither into that uncertainty to sabotage you. He’ll convince you that staying within your comfort zone is better than walking in your kingdom assignment. Or to strive and overwork to create a “better” outcome. Or to even give up on hope.Call it what you want—doubt, distrust, deception—it is at the root of all sin. This distrust in God’s character was what drove Adam and Eve to disobey, lose their closeness with God, and pass down the generational curse of death on all humanity. So how can we learn from their mistakes? By being delivered from doubt.Think about it this way: Deception is being convinced of what Satan says, and it leads you to death. Deliverance is being convinced of what God says, and it leads you to life.We become bound to sin by doubt, but we do away with sin by faith. So by faith, be certain of and governed by these truths, no matter what you see: God is not a liar; Satan is. God does not plot your failure; fear does. God is not withholding from you; He is protecting you.

The Scripture tells us to put on the armor of God, including the shoes of peace. I think God is saying, “You’re going to walk through difficulties you don’t understand. There’s going to be plenty of opportunities to live upset and afraid. But don’t worry, I’ve prepared you for what you’re going to face. I’ve armed you with peace and strength for the battle. It may not make sense, but it’s all a part of My plan.” Make sure you keep your shoes of peace on. Don’t fear the unknown or lose sleep over what doesn’t make sense. God has equipped you, empowered you, and anointed you. No weapon formed against you will prosper. Keep walking in faith, trusting when you don’t understand, and you’re going to walk into blessings, healing, freedom, abundance, and victory like you’ve never seen. When you trust God when it doesn’t make sense, you’re going to come into favor that doesn’t make sense—new levels of influence, new levels of joy, new levels of leadership, new levels of resources.

If God is good, why does He allow evil and suffering to exist? Many people take a handful of truths about God’s knowledge and power and conclude that He should prevent all evil and suffering. Interestingly, if He did that, you and I would not exist. We’d have to be God’s happy puppets or nothing at all. Let’s consider what God chose to do instead and how it shows His goodness.Read more: https://lnkd.in/eZwwzSWW

God sometimes allows trials and tribulations in our lives in order to get us to look to Him. Struggle tends to strengthen faith because in our struggles, we turn to God. "Are you comfortable?" Read more about this at: https://lnkd.in/gM9dbuAV

The old saying goes, “You can’t keep a good man down.” Essentially, this is the meaning of Proverbs 24:16: “For though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again.” A person who trusts in the Lord and depends on God throughout his life may trip and fall over and over again, but he won’t stay down. He will overcome obstacles and challenges by God’s grace and strength, dusting himself off and rising again. On the other hand, “One disaster is enough to overthrow the wicked” (Proverbs 24:16, NLT). The ungodly have no power to rise above adversity—once they are down, they cannot pick themselves back up.In Proverbs, the Teacher often compares two separate paths in life—one of the righteous and the other of the wicked (Proverbs 10:6–7, 16; 15:9). These two pathways lead to profoundly different destinations (Proverbs 10:28–30). The route of righteousness always leads to what is good, whereas the road of wickedness ends in ruin and destruction (Proverbs 11:23; 12:7). God’s Word promises abundant blessings and rewards for those who commit to doing what is right but warns against the disastrous consequences of wickedness (Proverbs 12:2–3, 21; 13:9, 21, 25; 15:6; 20:7). #teacher #power
