Singapore is a foodie paradise! The Bib Gourmand list, released on 18 June, added 11 new restaurants and hawker stalls, bringing the total to 81.
The Bib Gourmand list is an annual recommendation of restaurants and food stalls in the Michelin Guide, which is delicious and affordable. Last year, there were 79 Singaporean food outlets on the list that were rated as "good value for money".
Referring to the Michelin Guide, the Singapore Eye takes friends to see the 11 new Bib Gourmand restaurants on the list!
Jalan Sultan Shrimp Noodles:
With a history of more than 70 years, it is famous for its sweet pork ribs and shrimp noodles in the soup. In addition to noodles, pho or thin vermicelli are also available as a pairing. The dry noodles with hot sauce and plenty of fried shallots give it a fragrant flavor and a unique taste.

Located in a white stone house in the marine park, the design is inspired by the architecture of Puglia, Italy, and the chef is also from the local area, serving authentic hometown cuisine. The Focaccia bread and pasta are both handmade, with the former being the San Marzano Tomatoes flavor, a classic with juicy Italian tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and fresh basil leaves. Fish soup is made from mackerel, which is then used to cook porridge or rice noodles and rice. The fish soup is sweet and fragrant with fried garlic.
